COMPLIANCE
CEI standards – UL 1441
The tube is part of the UL Certified Dolph Insulation System No. E317429.
CHARACTERISTICS
The tube includes a precisely braided fiberglass sleeve and is treated with synthetic resins making it resistant to fraying and mechanical deterioration.
This sleeve is particularly resistant to extreme temperatures so it is ideal for use where particular resistance to high temperatures is required (motors, electric heaters, ovens, kitchens, etc.), electrical wiring and cable protection as well as general electrical applications.
It is generally threaded on electric cables in order to increase thermal resistance.
Type “D” primer-free (complete stripping of primer) is particularly suitable for cutting into small pieces as this type of sleeve will not fray (anti-fraying treatment).
